Why This Is Personal...

In 2021, our founder, Colleen Rothschild, was diagnosed with breast cancer. This diagnosis marked the beginning of a deeply personal journey through chemotherapy and surgery.

Throughout her experience, Colleen faced challenges that shaped her perspective on life, resilience, and the importance of community and support.

Today, Colleen is in remission, and her experience continues to inspire our commitment to raising awareness, encouraging education, and supporting women navigating their own breast cancer journeys.

Supporting Women Beyond Skincare

At Colleen Rothschild Beauty, we believe in the importance of showing up for women beyond their skincare routines.

Inspired by Colleen's personal journey, we have supported organizations dedicated to breast cancer awareness, education, access to care, and providing meaningful resources to women and families navigating cancer. Organizations we've proudly supported:

Know thy boobs

Know What’s
Normal for You

Breast self-awareness means getting familiar with how your breasts or chest normally look and feel, so you can notice changes.

The NHS suggests checking about once a month. You do not need to wait for a scheduled check to report something new.

Know Thy Boobs

Your monthly reminder to know what's normal for you.

Breast awareness starts with understanding your body. In addition to regular doctor visits, taking time to become familiar with how your breasts normally look and feel can help you recognize changes and know when to speak with your healthcare provider.

    Up & Down

Move your fingers gently up and down across the entire breast in overlapping strips, covering every area.

  2. Breast illustration with circular arrows

    Circles

Use slow, circular motions to cover the whole breast, starting at the outer edge and working your way toward the center.

  3. Breast illustration with arrows radiating from the center

    Wedges

Glide your fingers in straight lines from the outer edge toward the center, then back out again — like slices of a pie.

Awareness Is Always In Season

For us, breast cancer awareness is more than a month on the calendar. It's an ongoing commitment to sharing stories, encouraging conversations, and supporting organizations that make a difference in the lives of women.

1 in 8 women will face breast cancer in their lifetime — our mothers, sisters, daughters, and friends. And because most women diagnosed have no family history, awareness and early detection matter for everyone.

We hope Colleen's story serves as a reminder of the importance of knowing your body, advocating for your health, and supporting one another.

Breast self-awareness does not replace recommended breast cancer screenings or medical evaluations. Talk with your healthcare provider about screening recommendations and any changes you notice.
