11 Years, 11 Milestones - Colleen Rothschild Beauty

Wow…11 years. It’s hard to believe that it’s been over a decade since I started this journey of creating Colleen Rothschild Beauty. What began as a dream to redefine skincare products that deliver results, has grown into a brand that inspires confidence and self-care in so many of you. I want to take this moment to reflect on some of the milestones that have shaped not only our brand but also my personal journey. These moments remind me of why I started and how grateful I am for all of you.


1. The Start of It All

In 2014, I took a leap of faith and launched Colleen Rothschild Beauty alongside my husband and business partner, Stan. Our vision was simple yet profound: to create skincare that not only delivered results but also made people feel deeply cared for. It was the beginning of a journey built on my decades of experience in manufacturing, a passion for high-quality ingredients, and a commitment to science. At its heart, this brand is about empowering confidence - because when you feel good about your skin, it radiates outward.

We started with a thoughtfully curated selection of products, each crafted to deliver exceptional results while offering an indulgent experience. Today, those very same products remain cherished favorites, standing the test of time as trusted bestsellers beloved by our customers.

2. Pop-Up Debut at Neiman Marcus 

One of my favorite memories from 2018 was hosting our first pop-up event at Neiman Marcus in Dallas. Because Neiman Marcus is based in the same city as us, it was the perfect partnership - a chance to grow our customer base while meeting them face-to-face. It was more than just an introduction to new customers, it was an opportunity to share the heart of Colleen Rothschild Beauty in an iconic setting known for its quality and prestige. Seeing customers experience our products firsthand, hearing their stories and learning how our skincare gave them confidence was truly unforgettable.

3. The Limited Edition Breast Friend Self-Exam Cream

Years before my own breast cancer diagnosis, I recognized the critical importance of early detection. With love and purpose, I created the Breast Friend Self Exam Butter… a thoughtful blend of exotic butters, oils and extracts designed to provide the ideal slip-and-slide for performing thorough self-breast checks at home. The silky texture helps make it easier to detect unusual lumps and bumps beneath the skin. To further emphasize the message, I illustrated the limited-edition pink-and-white packaging myself, adding a playful, modern twist to the brand’s sleek, minimalist aesthetic. The design even included a step-by-step guide for conducting a proper self-examination across the entire breast area.

With 1 in 8 women diagnosed with breast cancer, early detection saves lives. Always remember: routine mammograms and monthly self-checks are essential steps in a proactive healthcare checklist, and they are items you can’t afford to skip.

4. Introducing Hair Care

By 2019, we were ready to expand beyond skincare. With my extensive experience formulating a wide range of beauty products, I knew we could do more to help you feel your best from head to toe. That vision led to the launch of our hair care category, offering solutions comparable to those found in professional salons - products designed to nourish, revitalize and elevate your hair care routine.

Among these, our Quench & Shine Restorative Hair Mask quickly became a fan favorite. Its transformative formula and results struck a chord with customers, earning rave reviews and even going viral. This standout product has become a go-to for deep hydration and luminous shine, proving that self-care truly starts at the roots.

5. Neighborhood Goods Pop-Up 

In 2019, we introduced our brand to a new audience through Neighborhood Goods. Unlike traditional retail, this pop-up allowed for a more curated, experiential introduction to our brand. It was thrilling to see how customers embraced our philosophy of blending high-performance skincare with moments of self-care. The success of this event strengthened our resolve to continue finding creative ways to connect with you and share our passion for beauty.

6. Moving to a New Office Space

Amid the challenges of 2020, we celebrated a major milestone: moving into a brand-new office space. With growth and awareness came the need for more room to dream, create and connect. This move was a testament to how far we’d come and our continued commitment to our mission, even in the face of global challenges. It reinforced our belief that confidence and care are more important than ever and reminded us that growth is possible, even during uncertain times.

7. Facing Breast Cancer with Strength 

In 2021, I faced one of my greatest personal challenges: a breast cancer diagnosis. It was a difficult journey, but with the unwavering support of my husband (and business partner) and an incredible team, our business continued to thrive. At the same time, the expertise and care of amazing doctors and nurses helped me survive.

This experience reaffirmed the importance of creating products that not only nourish your skin but also empower you to face life’s challenges with confidence and grace. Your support during this time gave me immense strength, and I will forever be grateful for the love and encouragement you shared with me.

8. Launching Makeup and Vitamin C Products

In 2022, we took a bold step forward by expanding into an entirely new category: makeup. This launch was a significant milestone, as our makeup collection was thoughtfully designed to complement your skincare routine, enhancing your natural beauty and giving you the confidence to shine.

That same year, we introduced two skincare innovations: the Vitamin C Brightening Serum and Vitamin C Nourishing Cream. These products quickly became customer favorites, celebrated for their ability to restore radiance and inspire a glowing complexion. Together, these launches marked an exciting evolution in our mission to help you look and feel your best.

9. Viral Moments and Industry Recognition

2023 was a year of excitement and validation for Colleen Rothschild Beauty. Our Illuminating Tinted Eye Cream went viral on social media, empowering so many of you with brighter, more radiant eyes. At the same time, our Sheer Renewal Cream received the prestigious Health Skin Award, recognizing the care and quality we pour into every product.

10. Breaking New Ground 

Last year was a year of remarkable milestones that marked new heights for our brand. We proudly introduced the Gentle & Clear 4-Piece System, a skincare collection thoughtfully designed to provide gentle care while inspiring confidence for all skin types. Our Face Oil N°9, one of our original and most beloved products, received the New Beauty Award for Best Moisturizing Face Oil, a true testament to its ability to nourish and rejuvenate the skin.

We also embraced new ways to connect with our community, hosting our first TikTok Live event and engaging with so many of you in real-time. Perhaps one of the most thrilling highlights was seeing our Hydrashine Lipstick Balm, a standout addition to our growing makeup category, make its debut at New York Fashion Week, blending beauty, confidence and the undeniable allure of high fashion.

11. Gratitude for 11 Years of Support

As I look back on these milestones, I’m filled with gratitude… for my team, for the opportunities we’ve been given and most importantly, for you. Your trust, your stories and the confidence you’ve found through our products inspire me every day. Here’s to 11 years of Colleen Rothschild Beauty, and to many more years of creating moments that empower and uplift.
