#ASKColleen - Third Edition

“What moisturizer from your line do you recommend for combination skin to wear under my makeup? At the end of the day my T-zone is a mess.” -Beti
I absolutely love using the Sheer Renewal Cream before applying my foundation in the morning.

It’s a light, oil-free moisturizer, so you’ll get all the benefits of added hydration without the shine! The Sheer Renewal Cream also doubles as a primer which helps your makeup stay put all day.

“I am thrilled with my relatively new CR skin care regimen. My former nighttime routine was the Age Renewal Super Serum combined with the amazing Face Oil No.9.

Now that I have purchased the Mandelic Acid Radiance Serum, I’m no longer sure about the combination effect. What would you recommend?” -Carol
I’m so excited that you are using some of my FAVORITE products!

My recommendation would be, after cleansing at night, pat dry your face then apply a pump or two of the Mandelic Acid Radiance Serum onto your fingertips and massage onto your face, neck and décolleté. Give the serum a few moments to fully absorb into your skin. (Just enough time to brush your teeth or checkout my latest Instagram post! ;D)

Then apply your cocktail of the Age Renewal Super Serum and Face Oil No.9!

Because the Mandelic Acid Radiance helps exfoliate that top layer of dead skin cells, your other serums and moisturizers will have a better chance to go deeper through the top layer of the skin. Which means you will get better results from ALL of your skincare products.

I just started using your products. (Love them!) I am using Retina A. Can I use your masks? -Nancy
To avoid over exfoliation and irritation, I would not recommend using the Dual Enzyme Polish or the Clarifying Detox Mask on the same day that you are using a product with Retin A.

An easy solution is to do a deep clean with the Clarifying Detox Mask or exfoliate dull skin with the Dual Enzyme Polish on days when you don’t use Retin A.

Keep in mind, because Retin A is a prescription from a doctor, it’s best to always mention any new products to your physician to make sure they don’t interfere with your skincare goals.

The Intense Hydrating Mask would also be a great product to add to your routine! The blend of Plankton Extract and Hyaluronic Acid can provide highly concentrated hydration and counteract the drying effect that Retin A can sometimes cause.

I have dry somewhat sensitive skin. I have fine lines/wrinkles under my eyes and light crows feet that I need some help with. I would like to use the Retinol Treatment and the Mandelic Acid. How would you suggest or what order should I use them? I also use the Vitamin C Treatment in the mornings for redness.
