Colleen Takes NYC: My Offsite Experience with Create & Cultivate

Connecting with so many inspiring, like-minded women was truly energizing. The day was packed with insightful panels, pop-up shops, and invaluable peer-to-peer networking, all designed for women looking to elevate their careers and businesses across a range of various industries. 

For those who are new here, I’m Colleen, the Founder of Colleen Rothschild Beauty. With over 30 years of experience in the beauty industry, I’ve poured my expertise into creating effective skincare, makeup, and hair care products that blend science and technology to ensure they stand the test of time. Your skin is sacred… after all, it is your body’s largest organ. We must be mindful of the products we apply daily, aiming to nourish, protect, and enhance natural beauty. At the event, we showcased our latest launch, the Hydrashine Lipstick Balm. As I bridge into makeup from skincare, my focus always begins with incorporating skin-loving ingredients. In this collection, I’ve infused Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E, and a blend of oils for deep hydration. After that, I turn to crafting the shades… this collection features five buildable hues that give a glossy, dewy finish. I had so much fun naming these products after my favorite travel destinations. Traveling with my husband and business partner, Stan, has always been a major source of inspiration for me. These lipstick balms reflect that spirit of adventure and are the perfect all-in-one product to toss in your bag for a quick, polished look on the go.

During our pop-up at the event, alongside giveaways and engaging conversations with passionate, career-driven women, we featured our interactive lipstick wall. Attendees received a Hydrashine Lipstick Balm and were invited to kiss a piece of paper while writing down their career goals or life aspirations to display on the wall, sending their wishes out into the universe. By the end of the day, I was truly amazed at the number of women who participated. It was so inspiring to read everyone’s aspirations, reminding me why I love what I do – creating high-quality products that support both skin health and personal confidence.
