Everything You Need to Know About the NEW Retinol Supreme Night Oil

The NEW Retinol Supreme Night Oil launched this week, and I have to say, this product is revolutionary. I am SO excited to finally introduce this amazing 2-in-1 treatment and moisturizer that is going to simplify your skincare routine in a snap!

The latest and greatest addition to the Colleen Rothschild Skincare collection uniquely combines the regenerative benefits of retinol with the moisturizing properties of plant-based oils. There is not another product on the planet like this one! And I know you are going to love it.

What’s in it?

- Stabilized retinol, which encourages skin renewal and is well known in the beauty industry to have amazing anti-aging benefits

- Vitamin C, which protects against environmental toxins and free radicals

- Nine plant-based oils, including Cotton Seed Oil, Frankincense Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, and Argan Oil; all nourish and replenish the skin’s moisture

What will it do for me?
- Help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and dark spots

- Stimulate collagen production, to help with skin elasticity

- Increase cell turnover rate, for younger looking skin

- Even skin tone, thanks to vitamin C

- Replenish moisture and nourish thirsty skin

What does retinol do?
Retinol is a form of vitamin A, which has been proven to minimize certain signs of aging like fine lines and dark spots.

As we age, our skin’s reparative process starts to slow down. Retinol helps speed up the skin’s exfoliation cycle – forcing old, dull skin cells on the surface to slough off so that new, healthy skin can return to the surface.

Think of it as polishing silver. Fresh, shiny new skin is under the surface! We just have to buff away the tarnish.

Will the Retinol Supreme Night Oil cause flaking?
No way!

Some forms of retinol (like prescription-level retinoids and Retin-A) cause the skin to peel and flake. Doctors and esthetician always recommend to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize when applying retinol.

So I thought to myself, “Why are we still doing this in multiple steps? Why can’t we treat with retinol and moisturize – AT THE SAME TIME?!” Light bulb moment. Adding essential oils in with the retinol means no dry, flakey skin.

What percentage of retinol is in the Retinol Supreme Night Oil?
The Retinol Supreme Night Oil has the maximum amount of retinol allowed over-the-counter.

However, our propriety delivery system, Level E3, helps the retinol and other active ingredients (like vitamin C) work harder and smarter. The key ingredients are optimized to penetrate the skin and continue working throughout the night.

How does this fit into my nighttime skincare routine?
Treat the Retinol Supreme Night Oil just like your normal nighttime moisturizer!

Start by cleansing. Follow with your favorite masking treatment or eye cream. Then finish with your new Night Oil!

If your skin is particularly dehydrated, try using our Extreme Recovery Cream then layering the new Retinol Supreme Night Oil over the top. (This is a trick I have used with my Face Oil No. 9 for years!)

If you have normal to oily skin, skip the cream. Gently press the new Night Oil into the face and neck.

What if I’m using the Mandelic Acid Radiance Serum?
Same suggestion here! If you are using other exfoliating products like the Mandelic Acid, other AHA serums, or exfoliating scrubs – try rotating their usage with the Retinol Supreme Night Oil.

How does this compare to the Face Oil No. 9?
If you like the Face Oil No. 9, you are going to LOVE the Retinol Supreme Night Oil. Both contain nine transformative essentials oils, but the Retinol Supreme Night Oil includes the added skin enhancing benefits of vitamin C and anti-aging benefits of retinol.

Hi Colleen – I’m thinking about adding retinol and vitamin c to my regimen. If I do this retinol oil, do I need to do vitamin c separately or would I be covered with this oil that has both retinol and vitamin c?

Hi Donna! Great question! You can still use the Age Renewal Super Serum and the Retinol Supreme Night Oil at the same time.

    First – cleanse.
Then – treat, with the Age Renewal Sumer Serum.
Finally – moisturize, with the Retinol Supreme Night Oil.

    I hope that helps!

How do you use this if you are already using the age renewal super serum

I’m so getting this! The question is whether I’m only getting one or getting a few as Christmas gifts!
