Is It Time to Change Your Routine?

With a slight chill in the air and my daily fix of Pumpkin Spice, I’m getting settled into a fresh fall routine.

And as it turns out, our body and our minds benefit from changing our daily habits. In fact, we thrive on change to grow and improve. So, here below are some signs that it’s time to switch up those boring routines and start benefiting from a fresh new pattern.

The Seasons Are Changing

As we all know, the cooler and dryer fall weather is on its way. And as the seasons change, your skin condition could change with it. It’s important to take a good, long look in the mirror and develop a skincare routine that supports the needs of your skin today.

The easiest switch to make to combat dehydrated skin is to use a dense moisturizer. During warmer months, I love using my Sheer Renewal Cream morning and night because it’s a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer. However as the fall breeze blows in, I like to add the Extreme Recovery Cream to my evening skincare routine. The combination of creamy, buttery hydration and Hyaluronic acid plumps and strengthens the skin when I need it the most.

You’ve Stopped Noticing Results
If you hit the gym five days a week for cardio but you aren’t seeing results, it is probably time to start strength training. Plateaus are normal, but if you can’t move past them it’s time to make a switch to a more challenging routine.

Some of us also get stuck doing the same skincare routine every day. However, our skin, like our workout routines, may need some alterations to target problem areas.

Start alternating my Retinol Treatment Complex at night and the Vitamin C Treatment Complex in the morning. Retinol boosts cell turnover and targets the five signs of aging, while Vitamin C gives the skin clarity and radiance.

Your Life Has Changed
Someone once said, “The only thing constant is change.” Maybe you’re in a time in your life where you recently moved, changed jobs, or had a baby. Our lives can change in the blink of an eye, and we have to change our routines accordingly.

And if you’re prone to stress during the seasons of major change, you might also be seeing more breakouts than usual. That’s because the body’s reaction to stress is hormone related. Studies have found that people who have trouble sleeping have a higher cortisol level, which has been associated with acne outbreaks.

If your skin is having trouble adjusting to added pressure, try using the Clarifying Detox Mask twice a week or to spot treat pesky blemishes. If your skin is looking dull or lacking radiance, it may be time to add the Dual Enzyme Polish into your routine two times a week.

You Have Set Long-Term Goals
Rome wasn’t built in a day. Achieving long-term goals starts with the day-to-day work. Those ambitions could be career oriented, health goals, or family or relationship objectives. Life is full of refinements that take time to develop, but keeping a fresh face shouldn’t be one of them.

If you are satisfied with your skincare routine, but looking for a surge in results, I would recommend adding a daily peel serum. And unlike other AHAs on the market, my Mandelic Acid Radiance Serum is gentle enough to be used every single day! Over time, the serum promotes cell turnover which can refine your overall skin texture and tone, help reduce the appearance of fine lines, and aid in unclogging pesky pores.
