"These are exfoliating cloths. If you use them with pressure, they can really leave your skin raw. I have repeatedly learned this the hard way. I have to be very mindful when I use these to barely apply any pressure and to let the texture of the cloth do the work while gliding the cloth across my face with almost no pressure. I love these cloths and I am a repeat buyer. They WORK to exfoliate the skin to a silk smoothness but I have developed a deep respect for the amount of bite they have. I wash them in hot water. They shrink a lot but that's OK with me."
