"The skin quiz recommended the balm, but being breakout prone (although 61 years old), I thought the combo would make sense. First, the smell of the balm is addictive, and is more than enough to remove makeup and feel cleansed. I often use the smallest pea-sized pump of the gel when I think I need more but I really think the balm is enough. And does not break me out nor dry me out. The gel on its own would be too drying for my aged skin. I will buy the balm again and again. Thumbs up for both products,"
