Colleen's Favorite Things: Winter Edition

These are a few of my favorite things!

Current favorite nail polish: Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Nail Lacquer in the color Evelyn. This gorgeous dark grey goes with everything and has a high-end luster that I can't stop staring at every time I put it on. It's the perfect just-edgy-enough-but-still-glamorous color.

Current favorite lip color: Sephora’s Luster Matte Long-Wear Lip Color in Deep Plum Luster (a dark purple/berry color). I love winter because I can break out all of those dark, bold lip colors! This one jazzes up any look, and it's totally affordable at just $16, too.

Current favorite candle: Mahogany Teakwood by Bath & Body Works. I love this candle because it smells like winter! It's a blend of warm winter firewood and soft lavender. I never like candles that are too sweet, but this scent is the perfect blend and reminds me of being home for the holidays! 

Current skincare routine: Your skin is yours year round, but you need a little extra TLC in the wintertime! Winter weather is cold, dry, and particularly punishing to your skin, which can make it hard to look your best. I like to use my Radiant Cleansing Balm to melt away that left-over heavy holiday party makeup that still lurking around my pores! And now that the kids are headed back to school and we're getting back to work, my tired eyes need a little extra pick-me-up from my Complete Eye Cream (and a few cups of coffee don't hurt either). However, my favorite winter trick is mixing up a quick cocktail of Extreme Recovery Cream and Face Oil No. 9 at night to keep winter skin hydrated and glowing all season long.
